Move over, Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart. MFF is the place to shop for cheaper prices and well taken care of plants. They do not sell unhealthy, ready to die, or traumatized plants from the lack of water. Friendly service and a huge variety of plants of all kinds.

Great selection and reasonable prices. Remember cash or check only. Dress cool since it can be pretty warm in under the tents.

Have been shopping here a couple of years. I don't think there is any other business in the area with prices as low for the quality of flowers and seedlings. A guy had a gripe in the reviews about not taking cards. How do you think their prices are this low?? Fussing abt service? This is busy season where the weather just broke and people are rushing to purchase flowers and plants and you want pampered service? Give me a break. Please come and support (just walk with your cash lol). I used to fuss with growing seeds at home and now just come here and buy seedlings. You may get a container with 3 or 4 seedlings where you can break them apart and have multiple plants for $2 or $3. The workers are friendly and if your timing is right, you can get great nuggets of info. Since the frost passed, I will be popping by this week to snag my tomatoes. Happy planting!

Very busy nursery and well stocked. If I had a gripe or 2 it would be the lack of support available (advice, consultation, etc). Staff is nice but not enough people to help folks who have questions that can't be answered fully and effectively in a 20-30 second interaction. Second gripe is they don't appear to take plastic. It is a little weird in 2026 to find a business that operates on cash and (of all things) checks. Who writes checks anymore?! At least that is what the sign said as I approached the counter. I don't typically carry cash on me and definitely no checkbook, so I had to leave empty handed. If I return it will be because I have cash on hand and I know what I want and what to do with it. If you are like me however, a novice at anything plant related, this place is not the place for you. You won't get much in the way of help here. If you are the king or queen of all things plants, load up your pockets and purses with cash or carry a checkbook (seriously, who does this still?!) and give them a go. I think you'll leave very satisfied.

For the best bargains in annuals, you'll not believe the size & choices at MD Flower & Foliage. Take the street directly across from the front gateway of Richardsons, for half a mile. The prices of small annuals are better than anything we've seen elsewhere. They do not take credit cards. You have to pay with a personal check or in cash--but it's worth it! We've been buying our annuals & tropical plants there for over ten years. Every single thing we've bought has leapt up in size. Generally x3 or x4 within 3-4 weeks. (The place is mobbed around Mother's Day.) Go early in the morning, not around lunch or afternoon. Parking can be hard to find. Be patient. This nursery is big, really big.
